Dr Matthew DVM
Veterinarian / Vet Director
Dr Matt completed a degree in Veterinary Genetics from Sydney University in 2012 and after working in academia in London completed his Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine from Melbourne University. His passion lies with felines and he’s since done an internship in feline medicine and surgery. Dr Matt has 3 cats of his own at home, along with 2 dogs and a young family. With his now extended family, he’s enjoying general practice and building relationships with our clients and their pets.
Dr Felicity BVSc
Veterinarian
Felicity is a proud graduate of JCU in Townsville, having completed her studies in 2021. She shares her home with two beloved feline companions named Sheep and Dog. Originally from Cairns, Felicity finds joy in the art of roller skating and the enchanting melodies of the piano.
Dr Sylvia BVSc
Veterinarian
Dr Sylvia is one of our senior veterinarians. She graduated from James cook university in 2015 and has worked in general practice and feline specific practice for many years. Sylvia has extensive knowledge when it comes to helping your animals.
Dr Ane BVSc (Hons)
Veterinarian
Dr Ane is one of our amazing Veterinarians. She grew up in Norway, and completed her veterinary degree at the University of Queensland in 2022. Ane is a big animal lover; in addition to dogs and cats, she also has an interest in more unusual pets and wildlife. Ane enjoys all aspects of general practice, and loves building relationships with clients and their pets.
Dr Javier BVSc
Veterinarian - CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE
Dr Javier completed her veterinary degree at the University of Queensland in 2023. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery.
She recently took in a ginger kitten named Beans who is certainly causing some havoc as he discovers the joy of unrolling toilet paper in the bathroom when left unsupervised. He has very quickly become unlikely friends with Jamie, Dr Javier’s cavoodle who has spent much of his life being a much-loved only child.
In her spare time, she enjoys doing some gardening and spending quality time with family.
Ebony
Practice Manager/Veterinary Nurse
Ebony began working as a Veterinary Nurse in 2015. Since joining the industry she has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and also completed a Practice Management course. She has lived in Darwin, Northern Territory for 4 years of her career, continuing her love for the industry. She is often known as the staffy loving nurse and is always eager for a cuddle with the bouncing bundles. Ebony’s main passion is surgical and hospital nursing, however she’s now decided to focus herself as Team Leader at Central Rochedale Vets and here at Rochedale Vets as well. In her spare time away from managing the two clinics she enjoys spending time with her Fiance, their daughter and their 2 loving staffies, Leia and Jax.
ADAM
Veterinary Nurse
Adam started working as vet nurse in 2008 while studying Applied Science (vet Tech) and has had various animal related jobs in between.
Adam grew up spending his school holidays on a dairy farm in NSW and has always loved with with the animals. These days he is especially interested in surgical nursing and animal behaviour.

Adam currently lives with his 2 cats Charlie & Pancake and his beautiful Labrador, Molly. However, Pancake still believes she's in charge.
AMBER
Veterinary Nurse
Amber completed her Certificate IV in veterinary nursing in June 2021, and joined our team shortly after graduating. She has a passion for dentistry, and caring for your furry friends during their visits to the clinic. Amber hopes she can expand her knowledge in assisting with surgeries with our experienced team.
She has a West Highland White Terrier named Mac, and two budgerigars which she has adopted. In her spare time, Amber enjoys painting and other forms of craft. She also enjoys taking her cheeky Westie to the beach and to their local dog park to chase his puppy friends.
Chloe
Veterinary Nurse
Chloe has completed her Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at UQ and has been in the industry since 2022. Starting off as an animal attendant/ hydro-bather, she is now working as a nurse. Her interests are training and behaviour, and she is currently running our puppy preschool classes. In her spare time Chloe likes to go to the beach, gym and hikes.
Nicole
Veterinary Nurse
Nicole has been working as a Veterinary Nurse for over 10 years. Nicole has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and thoroughly enjoys working in the industry. Nicole has a special interest in Surgical nursing. She shares her house with a fur family of 2 cats and a cavalier Ruby. When Nicole is not at work she enjoys taking her dog away camping and bush walking.
Jesse
Veterinary Nurse
Jesse joined our team in September 2022, her bubbly big smile is a pleasure to see each day. Jesse has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and hopes to have this completed in the not so distant future. In her free time, she is found coaching gymnastics to younger students and studying to become an amazing nurse. We are thrilled to have Jesse a part of our team.
IAN
Nurse Assistant
Ian has a very friendly nature and has always wanted to work with animals. We are very lucky to have Ian as our nurse assistant as he is passionate about his work and is also qualified in certificate III Companion Animal Services. In addition Ian has just completed additional studies and training in wildlife care & rehabilitation. He is always happy to help you carry your pets or help walk them to your car if you have your hands full. Ian loves his footy and loves to chat about the Broncos.
Andrew
Groomer
Andrew is one of our groomers who began his career with us in 2022. Andrew has learnt the ropes of grooming and has blossomed in this new found career. Andrew enjoys styling our large breed dogs and has found that this is his passion. We look forward to seeing the amazing work continue.

Kristy is our friendly groomer at Rochedale Vets, She has been with us for many years treating all of your pooches to gorgeous locks. Kristy strives to produce high quality grooms and enjoys getting to know each one of your furry friends individually.
